PRESENTATION OF THE XIII AWARD

The ^{13th edition} of the competition dedicated to the theme of pediatric palliative care (CPP), carried out in collaboration with the Maruzza Foundation, was held on 10th July at the Sala Convegni San Nicolo, Spoleto.

Monique Veaute, Artistic Director of the Festival dei Due Mondi Onlus opened the event. The winning campaign entitled “This is not a fairy tale”, created by Itziar Soto, Art Director and Valeria Polanco Torres, Copywriter of NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, was presented by Giovanna Paolini. Camilla PolliceCEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, awarded the winners with an internship at Saatchi & Saatchi.

The award event continued with a round table debate on pediatric palliative care, moderated by the journalist Chiara Daina. Silvia Lefebvre D’Ovidio – President of the Maruzza Foundation, opened the debate with contributions from Franca Benini – Head of the Centre for Pain Therapy and Pediatric Palliative Care for the Veneto region, and Alberto Zanobini – President of the Association of Italian Pediatric Hospitals – AOPI and General Manager of the Meyer University Hospital of Florence. A statement was read from S.E.R. Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia – President of the Pontificia Accademia per la Vita, who was unable to be present.
